5/6/24 – Veterans Suicide Prevention Team Presentation

VA S.A.V.E. is a 1-hour program being provided by the Altoona VA Medical Center Suicide Prevention Team to Veterans, Veteran Caregivers, friends/relatives of Veterans and those who server Veterans in our Communities.

Across America, the annual rate of Veteran suicides is 17-22 per day (6,000 per year).  The rate of suicide for Veterans is over 50% higher than for non-veterans.

Come... hear from professional suicide case workers about how
YOU CAN HELP SAVE LIVES!
